OUR STORY
Our aim is to use as many natural resources as possible. All fragrant oils we use are enthused with essential oils resulting in natural wonderful aromas to relax you. Our pillar/moulded candles (like the peony and owl) are made from majority soy and little beeswax. We use beeswax because it helps to harden the candle making them more conducive in warmer temperatures.
Beeswax also burns slower, by adding a little beeswax it increases the burning time for each candle. Additionally, beeswax releases negative ions which helps to clean the air. Using soy wax CC-35 (specific wax for pillar candles) mixed with the right amount of beeswax resulted in the perfect peony and owl candles. It is 100% natural, holds formation great and scent well.
For the container candles we use a coconut blend wax. Coconut wax is excellent at holding fragrance and has a smooth luxurious wax texture finish. Coconut wax is renewable and eco-friendly because it is a highly yielded crop. This means less coconuts are able to give a sizeable amount of wax. Through our experiments we found that coconut wax works perfect in our container candles. This wax is made from predominately coconut wax with some vegetable wax and minute amount of paraffin.
Candle making is my happy place, my creative outlet and a passion that was formed during the pandemic 2020.

I grew up in England and have a degree in Education Studies. Whilst I loved my time teaching my passion and hobby is using my hands to be creative. I moved to Florida in 2021 and slowly I am trying to churn my dreams into reality. I grew up watching my mother, and now my older sister, bake the most epic delicious cakes you could ever dream of (check out their
instagram: @LotusCakes). So, you could say the urge to create is in my blood and flowing through my veins.

When I made my first candle which was the owl candle I was so excited, so mesmerised by the whole process that I actually found it hard to sleep for days because my brain was buzzing with ideas of possible candle creations.
I am thrilled to be here today, selling what I love doing. The many late nights of melting wax, cleaning moulds and the trial & error process can be tiresome but this hard work brings me much joy. I hope you stick around to see my candle journey and to see what future creations I come up with.
